Solasian Youth Orchestra
Introduction to project
Solasian Youth Orchestra“Solasian” is a compound of “sol” (sun) and “Asian” and refers to an orchestra of young musicians whose enthusiasm blazes like the sun. About 100 young musicians selected through auditions are trained and play in an orchestra for a week with the assistance of eminent conductors and former and current members of domestic and foreign orchestras as mentors. Young musicians dream of becoming members of an orchestra.

Participants in the Solasian Youth Orchestra have an opportunity to play at the Grand Hall of Daegu Concert House, the leading symphony concert hall in Korea

Little Classic Expedition
Little Classic Expedition is a classical music education program for kids who are unfamiliar with classical music. The program has children observe and learn the kinds of instruments used in an orchestra and gain a basic understanding about classical music, as part of efforts to increase interest in classical music in communities.
